The installation of a Charge Point comes with a 3 year parts warranty and a 12 months installation warranty. Terms and Conditions below.

  1. Amelio Electrics trading as EV Camel warrants that on completion of installation, and for a period of 36 months from the date of installation, unless such period is extended by written agreement in the Order confirmation (warranty period), the charge point (excluding all other materials) shall (the parts warranty):
    a. conform in all material respects with the Specification; and
    b. be free from material defects in design, material and workmanship; and
    c. be of satisfactory quality (within the meaning of the Sale of Goods Act 1979)
  2. Amelio Electrics trading as EV Camel warrants that on completion of installation, and for a period of 12 months from the date of installation, unless such period is extended by written agreement in the Order confirmation (warranty period), the installation of the charge point shall (the installation warranty):
    a. conform in all material respects with the Specification; and
    b. be free from material defects in design, material and workmanship; and
    c. be of satisfactory quality (within the meaning of the Sale of Goods Act 1979)
  3. EV Camel offers no warranty for the Software Plug-in.
  4. Subject to Clause 6, if:
    a. the Customer gives notice in writing to EV Camel during the warranty period within a reasonable time of discovery that some or all of the Goods do not comply with the warranty set out in clause 1; and
    b. EV Camel is given a reasonable opportunity of examining such Goods; then
  5. EV Camel shall, at its option, repair or replace the defective Goods, or refund the price of the defective Goods in full.
  6. EV Camel shall not be liable for the Goods’ failure to comply with the warranty set out in clause 1 in any of the following events:
    a. the Customer makes any further use of such Goods after giving notice in accordance with clause 4;
    b. the defect arises because the Customer failed to follow EV Camel’s oral or written instructions as to the storage, commissioning, installation, use and maintenance of the Goods or (if there are none) good trade practice regarding the same;
    c. the defect arises as a result of EV Camel following any drawing, design or Specification supplied by the Customer;
    d. the Customer alters or repairs such Goods without the written consent of EV Camel;
    e. the defect arises as a result of fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, or abnormal storage or working conditions;
    f. the Goods differ from the Specification as a result of changes made to ensure they comply with applicable statutory or regulatory requirements; or
    g. full payment for the goods and services have not been received.
  7. Except as provided in this warranty, EV Camel shall have no liability to the Customer in respect of the Goods’ failure to comply with the warranty set out in clauses 1 and 2.
  8. The terms implied by sections 13 to 15 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from the Contract.
  9. Once the faults have been rectified, the Customer shall have no further recourse against EV Camel.
  10. How to Claim: Claims under this guarantee must be made in writing to the Managing Director of EV Camel within the warranty period. The date of the completion of work will be taken from the date stated on the Commissioning Certificate. Claims made later than that date will be disallowed.
